The PCS3P2537AG-08CR is a thermo-compensated, miniature low-voltage Crystal Oscillator (LVCXO) specifically designed for use in high reliability, high performance RF/Wireless designs. It provides exceptional frequency stability over wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Application Field and Working Principle

The PCS3P2537AG-08CR has a wide range of application fields, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radio frequency transceivers, Base station/Handset amplifiers and switches, and many more. This generator is particularly suitable for applications in low voltage supply components that require truncated operating frequency, low jitter and reduced temperature fluctuations. The PCS3P2537AG-08CR is capable of operating with supply voltage from 1.8VDD to 3.3VDD, with frequencies up to 132MHz.

The PCS3P2537AG-08CR clock generator works on the principle of a quartz crystal. It comprises of a quartz crystal that is placed between two metallic plates. When the voltage is applied to the plates, the quartz crystal vibrates at a constant frequency which is determined by the mass and surface area of the quartz crystal.
