A Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diode is a type of diode which is designed to protect sensitive electronic devices from electrical transients or "spikes" which can cause damage or disruption of normal operation. The PESD5V0S1BL,315 diode, which belongs to this family, is a uni-directional device which acts like a standard diode by allowing current in one direction (forward) only.
