PI3741-01-EVAL1 evaluation board is an ideal choice for the designers working in high-power applications. It is a single-phase non-isolated driver-based DC/DC & AC/DC off-line SMPS power supply system. With its robust design and intuitive user interface, this board is a great tool for rapidly testing and prototyping different designs.This board subsystem offers ample support to the system designers with its comprehensive features: 1.0A DC/DC converter, 700mW on-board FET gate driver, HV transformer footprint, 5V low power buck converter, isolated DC/DC converter, AC/DC off-line SMPS, waveform diagnostics options, temperature sensing/control, low-voltage MOSFET, and ultra-low power DC/DC controllers. These features are ideal for evaluation and model validation applications, such as power grid simulation, smart grid technology, smart energy management solutions, voltage regulators, and automotive-grade systems.The board operates by taking the input voltage, which is usually 12V or 24V, along with the secondary VHO winding, and converting it to an intermediate voltage which is adjusted and sent to the load. This board is the only one of its kind that uses a configurable bypass switching technique to achieve the required output voltage. The PI3741-01-EVAL1 driver also incorporates a self-biasing technique to simplify the controlling of the output current. This process allows the circuitry to maintain maximum efficiency and output power levels, while also allowing the user to adjust the output voltage and current for applications that require specific load conditions.The working principle of PI3741-01-EVAL1 can be broken down into seven distinct stages:1. Pre-Driver Stage: This stage processes the input signals prior to being fed to the main driver circuit.
