The PI5C3390QE is a high-speed differential signal multiplexer/demultiplexer ideal for applications such as video switching, USB 3.0, HDMI, and other high-speed protocols. This device features 8 differential input channels and 8 differential output channels divided into two independent banks, allowing for 16 different signals to be multiplexed/demultiplexed in one device. The PI5C3390QE features an on-chip variable I/O-voltage control, allowing for direct connection to the VCCIO voltage rail, while the device can also be powered from a +3.3V or +5V supply. This feature allows the device to switch data rates up to 10Gbps while operating at various voltages. Additionally, the device’s low power consumption helps to reduce power consumption and extend battery life in portable applications.
The PI5C3390QE features eight differential I/O pins divided into two independent banks, each with four I/O pins. These banks can be individually selected for bidirectional switching applications or for multiplexer/demultiplexer applications. The device also includes two switch enable pins which can be used to enable/disable the switching banks or to enable/disable each individual bank.
