The working principle of PIC16F18313-I/RF is based on the Harvard architecture. It is an 8-bit microcontroller with a Harvard architecture which is divided into two parts: One part is dedicated to the data memory and the other is dedicated to the instructions. When a program is executed, instructions are fetched from the instructions memory and the data is fetched from the data memory.The data memory consists of two parts: RAM (Random Access Memory) and Flash memory. RAM is used for storing the data which is to be used for executing the program. Flash memory is used for storing the program code. This code is read from the flash memory and written to an internal register, which is used for execution.The instruction memory consists of a ROM (Read Only Memory) which is used for storing the program code and a Program counter. The program counter is used for keeping track of the next instruction in the program sequence.
