PIC16LF1705-E/ML is a family of 8-bit flash memory-based Microcontrollers (MCUs) developed by Microchip Technology Inc. They are used in embedded systems applications such as home automation and wireless sensor networks. The working principle of the PIC16LF1705-E/ML is based on the algorithm-based architecture. The device has an 8-bit RISC processor which can execute both single and multiple threaded programs. The core has four stages of operation, namely instruction fetch, instruction decode, execution and writeback. During the instruction fetch stage, the device fetches the required instruction from the ROM and transfers it to the instruction decode stage.
