4. Two crystal modes using crystal or ceramic resonators.
5. Two external clock modes provide a divide-by-2 clock output option.
6. Two Fast Internal Oscillators (FRCs):
- One with a nominal 8 MHz output and the other with a nominal 500 kHz output.
- These outputs can also be divided down under software control to provide clock speeds as low as 31 kHz or 2 kHz.
7. A Phase Locked Loop (PLL) multiplier, available in External Oscillator mode and the 8 MHz FRC oscillator, which allows clock speeds up to 32 MHz.
8. Independent internal RC oscillator (LPRC) with fixed 31 kHz output, providing a low-power option for applications that are not timing sensitive.
