It utilizes RISC (reduced-instruction set computing) instruction set and has 16 single cycle instructions. It also supports optimized assembly language. The MIPS24K core of the processor has a power management function which can bring the device into sleep, idle or stop modes to conserve power.The PIC24FV32KA301-E/SO features a High Speed Intrerupt (HSI) module with fast interrupt response time.
