PL8302 is a highly integrated solution for arrays. It combines signal conditioning and impedance matching, as well as linear power control, cooling, thermal stabilization, connectivity, and control. In addition, the device includes a full-scale pre-stored array, array control, and diagnostic features.
The PL8302 array uses piezoelectric streaming waveform amplification technology (PSWA) to produce an acoustic or mechanical waveform at any position in the array. This provides simple, wide-area pattern control, where the waveform spread can be adjusted dynamically in real-time. The PSWA element combines both mechanical and electrical properties to produce an amplified waveform with minimal distortion. This enables PL8302 arrays to be used as a source of pre-defined waveforms over a wide range of amplitudes and frequencies.
The array can be used to transmit energy, sound, and communications signals over a wide range of distances.
