Arrays

PL8304T is an array of amorphous silicon sensor arrays for high accuracy, high reliability and low power applications. It is designed for the application of imaging, 3D sensing, optical detection, high light and low light detection, increased heat and temperature sensing, linear imaging, motion sensing and automated guided vehicle (iGv) applications.The PL8304T array is made of four wafer thin layers of amorphous silicon germanium photoelectric energy sensing elements that are designed for direct and indirect measurement of light source intensity. It enables accurate imaging of any type of light source even in the far field of a source. The four layers of photoelectric elements, together with the integrated signal processing circuits, convert light into digital electrical signals. The signals are then sent to an array controller or processing unit as signal input, which can then be used to detect the position, intensity, speed and direction of the light source.The PL8304T array also has a high thermal conductivity that can improve energy efficiency by reducing or avoiding thermal gradients. It also features an adjustable sensing range and can be set to any mode for application specific imaging.

Signal Transformers
