Common Mode Chokes (CMCs) are electronic components used to control unwanted currents that can cause interference. The differential mode is largely unaffected because the two windings are in opposite directions, so the majority of the signal is lost in the choke rather than being transmitted to the other components.The PL8801 is designed to operate in high frequency, high-voltage applications over a temperature range of -40 to 125 °C. It has a high current rating of up to 1785A and a high DC current of up to 755A. It also comes with a variety of mounting options including feet, terminal blocks, or custom designs.
