Proto-USBdevKit is an open-source development board based on the USB (Universal Serial Bus) communications protocol. Compatible with any type of USB-enabled device, the Proto-USBdevKit allows design engineers to create, prototype, and evaluate custom circuits for embedded systems.

The Proto-USBdevKit is a versatile development board designed to enable engineers, students, and hobbyists to develop and test USB-enabled embedded systems. It is based on Atmel’s AT90USB family of USB MCUs (microcontroller units) and includes a range of separate sub-cards for various functions. Each sub-card can be plugged into the board independently and are powered by a USB connection.
