Application Field

Working Principle

The PT371024 is an electromagnetic relay which works on a timer or by application of a control voltage to the input terminals. It consists of two parts – the solenoid, which is the operating member, and the contact, which is the energized contact. The two parts are independent of each other, and when the voltage is applied to the input terminals, the solenoid is energized and pulls the contact on.

The contact is held in place by springs, and the solenoid also contains a return spring to bring it back in the rest position after the energizing voltage is removed. The contacts can be of any type based on the application, including both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) types.

The relay is used where switching of the current is needed between two or more arbitrary points. The contact of the relay can be merely switched between open and close states, or the contact can be set to open at a specific moment and to remain in the open position as long as the relay is powered. The working principle of the PT371024 is the same as that of any other electromagnetic relay.
