The PT6505C from Power Tree Technology is a versatile, advanced DC-DC converter, designed for use in industrial and commercial applications.

The PT6505C is a regulated step-down converter that accepts an input voltage of up to 32V, and provides an output voltage adjustable from 0.8V to 28V. Similarly, if the voltage on the feedback pin is lower than 1.2V, the output of the PWM will be low, and the switched-mode supply will operate in step-up mode.

The shutdown pin is used to shut down the converter when it is not in use. When in shutdown mode, the converter consumes less than 1μA. The clock input is used to synchronize the internal oscillator and minimize the switching frequency. The output of the driver MOSFETs can be used to drive external MOSFETs, allowing the output current to be limited.
