PTN3355BS/F1MP is a single package solution for the provision of wireless connectivity in various applications. Designed with the Zigbee & #8211; IEEE 802.15.4 & #8211; Bluetooth & #8211; and Wi-Fi & #8211; standards in mind, PTN3355BS/F1MP encompasses power, connectivity and a wide array of options for external device interfacing. The device is designed for cost-effective integration into hardware designs, with complete support for multiple operating systems and industrial automation protocols including BACne, LonWorks®, PROFIBUS®, Modbus and EtherNet/IP®.

The device comes optimised for the machine-to-machine (M2M) and industrial automation markets, including medical devices, automotive, oil and gas, industrial processes, building and home automation, smart metering and infrastructure.

PTN3355BS/F1MP is powered by a Freescale 8-bit HCS08 microcontroller which is ideal for applications that require low-power, low-cost and fast embedded logic controllers. It also features several communication peripherals and two dedicated UARTs which provide additional flexibility, allowing it to talk to multiple host systems concurrently. The device also contains integrated flash memory, a voltmetre and a 10-bit ADC, enabling precise measurement of currents and voltages.
