It features a wide input voltage range of 8 to 32 volts and an output voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 volts, allowing it to operate at different input voltages without needing to be reconfigured. It also has a high output current of 48 volts and can withstand the high levels of reverse-voltage generated by application loads. Additionally, the PXE30-48WS05 is designed to protect against overcurrent, short circuit, and module over-temperature conditions.The PXE30-48WS05 utilizes a ripple switching converter topology which allows for high efficiency with a minimum of components. It has two operating modes, continuous and burst, allowing it to switch between the two as the load demands change. The continuous mode is used when the load requires stable power and the burst mode is used when there is a surge in load demand. This allows for greater efficiency in the converter.
