Working Principle

The QRC0640T30 is a diode array with two diodes operating in parallel configuration. The two diodes are connected in series, so that the current flows in one direction only. This allows the current to flow only in one direction, thus avoiding the need for a separate rectifying device.

In the forward bias mode, the diodes conduct current in the forward direction and blocks current in the opposite direction. In the reverse bias mode, the diodes blocks current in the forward direction and allows current to flow in the opposite direction. This provides protection against over-current conditions.

The QRC0640T30 is designed to provide high levels of reliability, with a failure rate of 0.0001% per 1000 hours. The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -40 to +85C and can handle up to 6.0 Amps of peak current. It is also capable of withstanding up to 60V of peak reverse voltage.
