Rectifier diodes and single diodes are examples of diode type devices that are widely used in electronics. The QRS1440T30 is a single diode, capable of performing a different types of functions such as rectifying, reversing, and free wheeling applications. The current passes through the diode, detecting any changes in peak voltage or power levels, controlling the switching function.

The QRS1440T30 working principle is based primarily on the flow of electrons between the anode and the cathode. Electrons flow freely between negative and positive terminals in the diode creating a flow of current. It is also based on the internal architecture of the diode which allows it to control the flow of current from the anode to the cathode.
