QS3861PAG Application Field

QS3861PAG is widely used in many applications in both industrial and consumer electronics, such as automotive, medical and home. In automotive applications, it can be used for low-level signal switching and signal measurement applications. QS3861PAG Working Principle

The core of the QS3861PAG is the PUF (Physically Unclonable Function) integrated with a microcontroller, which provides random electrical noise on the circuit. The PUF is designed to provide randomised bits that are used to control the operation of the switch chip. The PUF is essentially a one-time programmable chip where the random binary bits can be programmed for each application. The PUF is then connected to the microcontroller, which is responsible for the actual switch control.

When a signal is sent to the switch chip, the microcontroller reads the PUF’s random bits. Depending on the bits’ value, the microcontroller will be set to either turn on or off the corresponding channel. This allows the chip to switch multiple signals while ensuring that they are directed to the correct output.

In addition to the random bits, the PUF also contains a unique ID number assigned to each chip. This helps to identify the chip and its origin, preventing malicious reprogramming and tampering.

Overall, QS3861PAG is a versatile signal switch capable of switching between multiple input signals and providing robust protection against tampering. It is suitable for many industrial, automotive and consumer applications.
