QSB35024S24 is one of the most powerful DC-DC converters available today. It offers a very wide input voltage range (up to 24V) and a very high output voltage level (up to 50V). It also features a wide range of output current levels, up to 24A. In addition, it includes an integrated synchronous rectifier controller for higher efficiency and lower conduction losses.The QSB35024S24 is ideal for applications that require a very low profile in a compact package size. It is used widely in a variety of industrial, automotive, consumer, and medical applications.The QSB35024S24 converts low-voltage DC input into higher output voltages which can range from under 10V up to 50V. The output voltage is determined by two different parameters, namely the output voltage topology and the control type.The topology of the output can be set to either buck or boost. The buck output is typically used to step-down input voltages, providing the output with a voltage lower than the input. The boost topology is usually used to increase the output voltage up to the desired level, most commonly used with input voltages that are lower than the desired output.The control type of the output voltage can be a voltage or current-mode control. In voltage-regulated control, the output voltage is regulated to the setpoint by applying feedback from the output voltage to an internal error amplifier. On the other hand, current-regulated control is used to maintain a constant output current when supplying loads with varying output voltage requirements.The QSB35024S24 has an integrated MOSFET driver and switch-mode control stage. The MOSFET driver ensures a high-speed switching speed and a low-ripple output voltage. The switch-mode control implements a current-mode control scheme.
