Film capacitors, also known as film dielectric capacitors, can be divided into metalized film capacitors, polyester film capacitors, polypropylene film capacitors and polystyrene film capacitors in the application field according to the raw materials used to make the dielectric. Its main feature is its larger capacitance, which can be as large as 3.3uF, and its operating temperature range is -45°C to +125°C. Its working principle is the principle of electrical double layer, that is, when the electrical field is applied to the metal dielectric boundary (metal film), the electrons with negative charge direction migrate to the dielectric interface and form an electric double layer.

In order to ensure its capacitance and anti-interference ability, when the thickness of the metalized film of QXK2J684KTP is between 102μm and 117μm, and the K value of the electrode is between 20 and 60. The above mentioned parameters pave the way for the film capacitor to be widely used in the circuit with high stability, high reliability, and superior performance.
