During the negative half-cycle of the AC waveform, the other diode will be forward-biased and conducts current to the load, while the other three diodes are reverse-biased and don’t conduct current. This continuous process provides a steady and unidirectional DC current.The R3880 can operate at relatively high frequencies of up to 200kHz or higher. This makes it suitable for applications such as high frequency switched mode power supplies, where high speed switching is required with low levels of losses.
