LED Drivers

LED Drivers are electronic components used for controlling LED arrays. This type of component is used for regulating the current, intensity, voltage, and temperature of LEDs, allowing the user to control the aesthetic of their LED lighting. LED Drivers, also known as LED Boosters, are generally used in industrial, medical, military, and commercial lighting applications.

The RACD100-700 LED Driver is an industrial strength LED driver. This device is designed to produce power levels up to 700 Watts, and is optimized for 24 Volt LED systems. It has a wide input voltage range, from 258 to 530 Volts, with a constant-current accuracy of ±2% from 0 to full Operating voltage range. The RACD100-700 is equipped with a wide operating temperature range, from -30°C to 70°C, making it ideal for applications in extreme temperatures.

The RACD100-700 utilizes a simple, unified architecture to optimize the performance and efficiency of the circuit. Its architecture consists of three core components including a power supply, Signal Processing Unit (SPU) and peripheral controller. The power supply provides the main power supply input for the LED Driver, and also provides the redundant voltage in case of power failure. The SPU is responsible for signal processing and control, while the peripheral controller provides the signals required by the LED Driver for various actions, including dimming, strobing, and set-up.

The RACD100-700 also offers a variety of output power modes for controlling LED circuits. These include constant voltage, constant current, and pulse width modulation (PWM) modes. In constant voltage mode, the LED Driver outputs a constant voltage regardless of load changes, while in constant current mode, the LED driver outputs a constant current regardless of load changes. In PWM mode, the LED driver can control the on/off ratio of the output power, allowing for smooth dimming and color control. All of these output modes can be adjusted remotely by the user for optimum LED control.
