REF102CU is a voltage reference circuit (PMIC) specifically developed for low noise and low power consumption applications. While many power management integrated circuits (PMICs) have similar properties, REF102CU stands out with integrated compensation and an very low quiescent current of 2.3 µA. This makes it especially suitable for high precision, low power applications.REF102CU is a monolithic integrated circuit featuring an accurate, low noise voltage reference with an adjustable output level. It is designed on a CMOS process, and features excellent temperature-stability, low power consumption and low noise. The output is adjustable over a wide range.The REF102CU operates with input voltages from 3.3V to 36V, with an accuracy of ±0.1%. It has an industry-standard 5-pin SOT-23 package and is suitable for high frequency, precision and low power applications. The adjustable output voltage range is from 0.5 to 5.0V, with excellent temperature stability and very low quiescent current.At the heart of the REF102CU is a precision voltage reference sourced from an N-Channel FET. The FET is operating in the sub-threshold region, enabling a significantly lower operating current than other types of references.
