The RJS500E rotary potentiometer is one of the most widely used electric sensing devices in the industry. Working Principle of RJS500E

The resistance element of RJS500E is usually the track layer or the spiral track. When the rotation angle changes, the contact with the contact shifts on the track, and the resistance value between the output end and the fixed end changes with the displacement of the contact. When the slider is connected to the negative end and positive end respectively, the resistance of the sliding contact has a linear change with the rotation angle, and its output voltage changes linearly with the rotation angle.
