RKS10I is an industrial automation module designed for factory process control. It is a reliable and low-cost product with strong motion control processing capabilities. This module is suitable for industrial automation applications such as factory automation, agricultural automation, elevator control, robotics, smart grid automation and so on.The RKS10I automation module integrates an embedded controller, several I/O modules, communications, and interface modules into a motion control module, providing a powerful motion control system. In order to ensure the stability and reliability of the system, the RKS10I even supports power redundancy. The design of the system also ensures the compatibility of the system components to a certain extent.In addition, its primary motor control technology is based on field oriented control. FOC is an advanced algorithm for making the motor rotate more accurately and efficiently. The control system consists of a vector control system, current and speed/position feedback, and a pulse width modulation (PWM) circuit. All these components and the FOC algorithm work together to clock the motor\'s rotation and maintain the motion control.The speed of the motor is determined by the signal of the reference vector generator. The control system will compare the actual speed value with this vector and then calculate the required current to achieve the desired speed. The PWM circuit will close the inverter\'s power switches according to the closed loop control and continue to modulate the current until the speed of the motor meets the demand.Equipped with a windows programming software, the RKS10I is capable to perform a variety of motion controls including speed tracking, position control, acceleration/deceleration sweeps, and even more complex trajectories. What’s more, engineers also can use the software to quickly design the motion control program and communicate with the system in real time by inputs and outputs.High efficiency and reliable performance make the RKS10I an ideal module for a wide array of applications, with potential to reduce development costs and improve the reliability of the control system. And, because of its low cost, numerous functions and superior performance, it is sure that the RKS10I automation module will continue to be widely used in the field of industrial automation.
