The RT9032AGQW is the latest, innovative current-mode PWM, high efficiency, true differential linear or current-mode step-down regulator, which is ideal for applications requiring higher accuracy and fast transient response. The RT9032AGQW is a highly reliable device with a wide operating-temperature range of -40° C to +85° C. It provides a wider output voltage range of 1.25V to 6V, which can be constantly adjusted by an external resistor. There is also an internal 1.205V reference voltage. Furthermore, the RT9032AGQW utilizes a peak current-mode design with an adjustable frequency up to 1.5MHz, and can output a maximum of 3A current. This device also combines adjustable soft start, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, and thermal protection functions. The RT9032AGQW achieves high efficiency, with a peak efficiency of 95%. Apart from providing great power supply performance, it also has excellent thermal and EMI characteristics. Compared to the similar RT9032, the RT9032AGQW offers an improved bill of materials (BOM) and can save board space by integrating Bipolar NPNch and Pch transistors into one package. Additionally, it provides low output voltage ripple, accuracy and a less oscillating voltage loop.

The working principle of the RT9032AGQW is based on the current-mode pulse-width modulation (PWM) control. This control loop creates an error signal in the output which is proportional to the output voltage and is then used to adjust the duty cycle of the output switch, thus controlling the output voltage. The RT9032AGQW is ideal for a variety of applications such as DTV, LCD monitor, PC peripherals, digital still cameras, and other high-precision electronic products. It also has various applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer as well as communications markets.
