RUEF110S Working Principle

A RUEF110S is composed of two terminals – the anode and the cathode. This reduction in current causes a drop in voltage, which trips the fuse and disconnects the circuit. The reason why the PTC Resettable Fuses are able to self-reset is because of its structure. When the fault condition has been rectified, the body’s temperature will cause the polymeric material to become more conductive and allow current to pass again.
