The S11MD5P is an all-in-one, Selectable Output (SO) optoisolator designed for use in industrial applications. It is capable of yielding a maximum current rating of 500 mA and ac to dc optoisolation voltage of up to 5 kV. Based on a triac output, the S11MD5P is a non-latching device and is highly suitable for applications in which it’s necessary to modulate, control, or monitor AC circuits (such as motor control). It is also used in AC voltage and power monitoring and other power control applications.
