Time Delay Relays
Time Delay Relays, abbreviated as TD, are a type of switch which is used to control and measure the amount of time for which energy must flow through it before it shuts off the current. TDRs are typically used in applications where a slow and consistent response is needed, such as fire alarm systems, industrial control, relay-controlled systems, and home automation systems.The S1DX-A4C5S-DC24V time delay relay (TDR) is a special type of TD that is specifically designed to provide a variable time interval between when the relay is activated and the system is triggered. This relay works by using a timer chip within the relay which uses adjustable parameters to determine the delay time for opening and closing the relay contacts.
