This will reduce the resistance of the material and currents will flow easily. In other words, the P-N junction works as a rectifier. The average current flow through the junction will depend on the resistance of the P-N junction. The resistance of a P-N junction is determined by the doping level of the materials, which is very low in S2DHE3_A/I. Hence the average current flow will be high.
