The S40BR is a single-phase rectifier module utilizing the latest advanced IGBT technology and features a unique asymmetrical gate structure. It is designed to operate in a wide operating temperature range, from -40°C/-40°F to 110°C/230°F, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The S40BR is designed to rectify alternating current (AC) from the connected power source, to direct current (DC). It uses a pair of MOSFETs for the rectification of single-phase AC power.
