Thyristors - SCRs
A thyristor is a three-terminal semiconductor device that acts as a switch or current controller. When thyristors are used in combination with other components such as resistors, they are used to control the amount of current passing through them. The thyristor mainly has two types of configurations: SCR (silicon-controlled rectifier) and Triac (triode for alternating current).

The wider the pulse, the higher the current through the motor and the faster it will run. By adjusting the width of the pulse, the motor’s speed can be accurately regulated.The S6SRP can also be used to regulate the power output of other power supplies such as dimmers and inverters.The S6SRP is used to generate a desired waveform, which is then used to adjust the power output of the power supply.In summary, the S6SRP application field and working principle is used for applications such as DC motor control and power supplies.
