S8960B is a high-precision MEMS dynamic accelerometer designed for automotive HMIs (human/machine interfaces) applications. In automotive HMIs, it generates input feedback from the driver or passenger when the vehicle is moving or when pressing buttons in the cockpit.
This device combines a MEMS accelerometer with advanced digital processing technologies to accurately detect and measure acceleration and angular movement in all three axes.
