S9025PRSMF is a digital high-accuracy-level (HAL) multi-state switch, commonly used for parameter switching, circuit protection, isolating, and safety control applications. It has 16 different switchable states and various parameters that can be set accordingly.
It belongs to the HAL family, which is a series of high-reliability switches with applications in safety equipment, measuring and monitoring systems, medical equipment, automotive battery systems, and other industries.
S9025PRSMF has a high-precision sensing element, self- alignment mechanism, and highly reliable contact closure. This contact closure is largely improved compared to conventional contactors. Working Principle
The working principle of S9025PRSMF is based on the principle of electric, thermal, and mechanical actuation. It has a high-precision sensing element, which is also known as a thermally actuated switch. This sensing element is integrated with a thermal actuator, which, when energized, is configured to move the switch contact.
The switch contact is also mechanically actuated. When the thermally actuated switch moves, the switch contact moves away from its original position and opens the circuit. This open circuit activates the contact closure, which from the original position relocates the switch contact to its new position.
When the temperature surrounding the thermally actuated switch drops or the power gets interrupted, the electromechanical actuator moves the switch contact back to its original position and closes the circuit. In this way, the switch contact functions as a switch, being able to move between two predetermined positions.
S9025PRSMF has several features that make it suitable for a wide range of applications. These features include a low current draw, a wide range of actuation levels, momentary contact closure, and reliable switching.
S9025PRSMF also has two separate relay channels, thus allowing the switch to be used in different switching configurations. This makes it suitable for parallel switching, enabling the user to switch more than one circuit with a single switch.
