Working Principle

The SA70-E3/73 is a dual common cathode configuration TVS diode with unidirectional and bidirectional circuit protection. Each individual diode can clamps transients on positive and negative side of the power supply. This increases protection range along with the capability to withstand higher peak power. With its narrow band-gap material, the SA70-E3/73 has high peak pulse power handling capability with excellent clamping performance. It also features a low dynamic resistance (RDYN) for enhanced transient protection.
