It also has a peak impulse current rating of 2000A, and its peak pulse power dissipation rating of equal to or greater than 600W. Its temperature coefficient is designated at 100PPM/°C, and its typical junction capacitance is around 2000pF. It also has an insulation resistance of 1000MΩ, and its clamping voltage is specified at 8V. The diode also has a package size of 0.2" x 0.2" x 0.11" which make it extremely compact and efficient for many applications.

Working principle of SA85A

The working principle of the SA85A involves the passage of an electrical current through it. The current passes through the diode in two ways; either from high voltage to low voltage, or low voltage to high voltage.
