The SBYV26C-M3/54 single-phase rectifier is designed for resonant converters and isolated DC-DC converters for telecom, automotive and industrial applications.The products of this series are rated at 26A, 200V and offer a wide operating temperature range of -55 to +150 degrees Celsius.The product features an integrated snubber circuit, a low turn-on voltage of 0.45V and a reverse recovery time of only 12ns.It also features a high peak current and an extremely low forward voltage drop. The package is an SMDHS6 with a pint of 6.3*3.3mm.

By breaking down an alternating current (AC) supply into a train of current pulses and discharging the output capacitors with these pulses, the SBYV26C-M3/54 converts AC input power into DC output power.

This rectifying process is achieved through the use of a power diode and capacitor which act together to convert alternating voltage into a series of dc volts and current pulses.The AC input voltage is applied to the diode, which acts as a switch and allows current to flow in one direction, from the positive side of the wave to the negative side.

This waveform is then smoothed by the capacitor, which accumulates and stores the fluctuating voltage and supplies it with a constant level of power.The output is then filtered, to remove any remaining noise and fluctuations.

In order to reduce power losses, thermal management in the SBYV26C-M3/54 is achieved through the use of special high thermal conductivity materials, special shielding, heat sinks, and fan cooling.

The SBYV26C-M3/54 single-phase rectifier is widely used in telecom and industrial applications such as high power switch mode power supplies, AC-DC converters, low-power DC-DC converters, and renewable energy systems.

The SBYV26C-M3/54 can provide stable current for high power applications, reduce power losses and improve efficiency, and also offer long-term reliability in different conditions, from low temperature to high temperature.
