The working principle of the SC16C850LIBS revolves around the exchange of data between two systems. A transceiver and an interface unit transmit data to each other using a two-wire synchronous technique. The two wires transmit data at different levels of voltage. To ensure efficient data transmission, the device is outfitted with 8 or 16-byte FIFO buffer, depending on the model.
