Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UARTs) technology is the de facto standard for countries and industries around the world. The SC16C850LIBS is the latest generation of UARTs, incorporating the latest technologies in performance and enabling data transfer speeds up to 16Mb/s. This technology supports various additional functionalities such as high-speed data transfer, fault tolerant operation, and fast boot.

The SC16C850LIBS has a variety of applications, including industrial automation, automotive, consumer electronics, and many more industrial applications. This versatile device supports mainframe communications protocols such as Asynchronous HDLC and ARINC-155, along with numerous other industrial communication standards. The working principle of the SC16C850LIBS revolves around the exchange of data between two systems. A transceiver and an interface unit transmit data to each other using a two-wire synchronous technique. The two wires transmit data at different levels of voltage.
