The SC2200-EVK2400 is designed to help engineers evaluate a wide variety of performance characteristics for an RF-based device. Working Principle
The SC2200-EVK2400 uses field-proven testing instrumentation to help engineers quickly and accurately measure the performance of their device. It utilises two main components to evaluate the performance characteristics of an RF-based device: the receiver and the transmitter. The receiver part of the device is used to measure the signal strength of the RF device, while the transmitter part of the device is used to measure the transmitted signal strength of the RF device. In addition, the device also utilises an oscilloscope to measure the Impedance Profile of the device.
The receiver and transmitter portion of the device use a variety of techniques to accurately measure the performance metrics of an RF-based device. First, the receiver part of the device utilises a signal sampling technology to accurately measure the signal strength of the RF device. This technology utilises digital signal processing (DSP) techniques to convert the received signal into a digital representation for analysis. Once the signal is converted into a digital representation, the receiver is able to measure the signal strength over a variety of frequencies.
The transmitter portion of the device uses RF transmission test techniques to evaluate the performance of the RF-based device.
