These devices are used in many areas such as mobile, telecom, automotive, and medical applications. The SCW05B-12 is a type of DC/DC converter. Now let’s look at the working principle of the SCW05B-12. The device operates on a two-stage non-synchronous buck-boost DC/DC conversion topology. It has a wide input voltage operating range and uses an advanced MOSFET switching technology in combination with an optimized control circuit. The input voltage is first rectified and filtered in order to produce a DC voltage. This DC voltage is then regulated, step-down and stepped-up to the desired level to deliver the output voltage.
