SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 is a single board embedded development platform that integrates the LH7A400 ARM9-core microprocessor with many peripherals and expansion capability. It is a powerful evaluation board suitable for evaluating applications that require high-performance, low-power and low-cost devices. The SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 supports a wide range of operating systems, provides extensive debugging facilities and supports a wide range of application development scenarios.The development board is based on the LH7A400 ARM9-core microprocessor which is a 32-bit processor operating at a maximum of 400 MHz. The processor features 32KB instruction cache, 128KB data cache, hardware multiply and divide as well as Memory Protection Unit (MPU). In addition, it also provides a 32-bit external memory interface and an 8-bit host bus (HB) interface. The SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 is designed to be connected with a compatible debugger board so that the entire system can be debugged effectively.The SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 board features a total of eleven peripheral components. Five of these peripheral components are digital-to-analog converters (DACs), five are analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and one is an analog serial peripheral interface (ASPI) controller. The DACs allow for digital audio or video data to be transmitted from the processor to an external device. The ADCs can be used to sample external analog signals and store them in the memory for further processing.The board includes a total of four expansion connectors. Three of these connectors are full-sized and support a variety of daughter boards. The fourth connector is a 3.3V low-voltage I/O connector that supports the SPI bus (SPI Digital Interface) and an advanced GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) controller. All these connectors support a wide range of hardware extensions such as real-time clock (RTC), low-power RAM (LPRAM), Ethernet controller, CAN controller, USB port and many more.The SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 board also features a JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) connector which is used for attaching a compatible debugger board. The JTAG port can be used to control the microprocessor’s operations, debug code and measure application performance.The SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 board is suitable for a wide range of embedded applications, particularly those requiring low-power, high-performance operation. It is an ideal platform for developers to develop, test and evaluate applications for consumer, automotive, industrial, medical and communications markets.The working principle of the SDK-LH7A404-11-6416 board is based on the input of analog signals, which are converted to digital signals using the on-board ADC’s. These digital signals are then processed by the microprocessor and stored in the memory. When necessary, the stored data is transmitted to the external device using one of the DAC’s. The debugging facilities allow the application to be tested and evaluated, and the expansion connectors allow for additional hardware to be added.
