SE15PG-E3/85A is a single rectifier diode. It is primarily used to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). This component also finds application in areas like AC power control, motor-lock applications, rectifying of AC/DC signal, etc. It can withstand up to 85A of average forward rectified current, and 3000V reverse steady voltage.

These diodes have three main components, namely; Anode, Cathode and Shell.
