Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters are an effective system for meeting the needs of modern communications technology. The SF2137E is a highly efficient SAW filter that is designed to work with other electronic components to provide low pass, high pass, band pass, and rejection filter solutions. The waves eventually reach a pair of reflectors located at opposite sides of the filter, and are reflected to come back to the transducers.

The reflected waves, after passing the filter, will be either blocked or passed. In case of the blocked wave, the acoustic wave is locked in the finger array and dissipates in the form of heat, leading to a high damping of the wave. When the wave is passed, the finger array does not absorb much of the wave, allowing it to pass through with minimal losses.

The SF2137E is an excellent choice for providing strong performance and a cost-efficient solution for modern communications. It not only offers efficient filtering and minimal signal losses, but is also suitable for high-speed applications, since it does not experience any major variation over temperature.
