The substrate then transfers the signal to a dielectric material, which then generates an acoustic wave along the substrate, in the form of a standing wave. This wave travels in a wavefront along the interconnect and back to the electrodes, thus completing the circuit.The SF2150E is a SAW filter designed for use in applications requiring low signal distortion, low insertion loss, and high selectivity. It utilizes a Spiral Interconnect (SI) substrate structure for improved performance. The SI substrate is semiconductor-based and provides superior signal fidelity by ensuring that the electrical signals are rapidly and accurately transmitted across the substrate. The filter is available in a variety of frequency ranges to support various applications.The working principle of the SF2150E is based on wave interference. A standing wave is generated on the SI substrate due to the interference between the transmitted signal and the reflected signal. The resulting electric field then couples to the electrodes on the substrate, and the frequency of the signal is then determined by the standing wave. Consequently, the SF2150E can provide filter transmission characteristics over a given RF frequency range.The SF2150E also employs a novel interjector coupling technique to boost the signal-to-noise ratio. This technique utilizes an additional signal conductor to decrease the effects of external noise and improve the selectivity of the filter. Additionally, the SF2150E utilizes a high- Q design that allows it to provide sharp cut-offs and sharp transmission characteristics over the desired frequency range. To ensure the maximum filter performance, the SF2150E utilizes an advanced, double-sided patterned substrate. This double-sided substrate allows the filter to provide superior signal fidelity, low insertion loss, low distortion, and high selectivity over a wide frequency range.
