The model SI1141-A11-YMO is a digital ambient light (ALS), infrared (IR), ultraviolet (UV) sensor which offers the advantage of integrating multiple functions into a single package. It offers both an ALS function and an IR emitter driver. The ALS measures the visible light through a silicon photodiode, which is combined with a current amplifier and a dedicated 16-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC).
