The SI51219-A01AFTR is a highly integrated, low jitter, 6-output frequency synthesizer used in high performance clock and timing solutions. It is a single-chip solution covering a wide range of frequency-sets and jitter performance. With its great selectivity, precision, and programmability, it eliminates the need for separate voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs), buffered crystal oscillators, and fixed frequency oscillators. It offers a rich variety of different outputs for use in digital audio, communications, and consumer electronics applications.The SI51219-A01AFTR is a Frequency Synthesizer that accepts an external signal, typically a crystal oscillator, and produces six independent output frequencies. This can be used for applications such as clock and data recovery, spread spectrum timing and modulation, precision timing and modulation, and local oscillator signal generation.The SI51219-A01AFTR has an architecture based on a Longitudinal Mode Voltage Control Oscillator (VCO) with an integrated output buffer. This combination enables a low jitter clock-output with a low noise reference signal. It also includes a clock output divider, fractional divide ratio control, and output-phase control.
