The SI5325C-C-GM is a member of the 3rd generation of Silentwitch™ Any-Frequency™ Clock Multiplier ICs which provides the customer with an easily programmable, low-cost, timing solution. It is a low-power, higher performance clock and timing solution IC specifically designed for high-speed serial data transmission applications. The SI5325C-C-GM is designed to optimize performance and raise the bar in clock multiplier design. It is designed to enable increased granularity with a wide range of output frequencies and various I/O configurations to support the requirements of the most demanding high-speed serial data transmission application.
The SI5325C-C-GM is a low-power and high-performance clock and frequency synthesizer that is optimized for use in high-speed serial data applications. The device has a wide range of output frequencies, as well as selectable I/O configurations to support all types of high-speed serial data applications. Its operating current is as low as 1.8mA, at 48MHz output frequency, helping reduce power dissipation and keep operating temperatures cooler, while enabling increased granularity over all output frequencies.
The SI5325C-C-GM offers a modifiable output frequency via its programmable input signals. It is tightly tuned to the application\'s requirements, making it ideal for those needing a programmable frequency generating solution. Additionally, the SI5325C-C-GM features a low noise phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency multiplier and a digital frequency synthesizer. This feature further allows the user to modify frequency multiplication ratios, thereby enabling output frequencies up to 8Hz. This allows for a wide range of applications, ranging from datacoms, storage and digital communications to laboratory, industrial and defense applications.
