Silicon Laboratories’ SI5335D-B02031-GMR is a Clock Generator, PLL and Frequency Synthesizer with integrated Programmable Output Enables. It is designed to be used across a wide variety of applications, including clock source optimization, clock source redundancy, and clock signal generation. The device is based on Silicon Laboratories’ fully custom, low-phase noise, high-performance oscillator core. This core allows the SI5335D-B02031-GMR to provide programmable frequency synthesis, programmable output enables, programmable output power and programmable loop-filter components.

The external capacitance values of the loop-filter component ensure that the output clock frequency has minimal phase-noise and jitter. The I/O control block programs the outputs and the internal oscillator, thereby allowing the SI5335D-B02031-GMR to generate the desired clocks.

In addition to its low-power, low-phase noise oscillator core and PLL components, the SI5335D-B02031-GMR also integrates programmable Output Enable outputs to provide additional supply-sensitive clock outputs for redundant or power-sensitive designs.
