The SI5335D-B08298-GM is a fully integrated clock generator for high speed and dense applications, including multi-gigabit serial links, telecom and high performance computing systems. It is an ideal replacement for bulky crystal oscillator circuits and for very precise applications, it offers excellent jitter performance. The SI5335D-B08298-GM is fabricated using the latest in semiconductor processes and features high level integration, low power consumption and small form factor.

The SI5335D-B08298-GM is based on a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), which is controlled by an integrated phase locked loop (PLL) to generate frequencies with low skew, jitter and phase noise. The device is capable of producing up to four differential LVDS or LVPECL outputs. These outputs can be programmed individually or combined to create multiple simultaneous outputs or distributed clocks. The device also includes an external crystal oscillator to act as a reference oscillator and provide better stability and accuracy. This device is compliant with the standard 24-bit SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) protocol, making it easy to integrate with a variety of microcontrollers and programmable logic devices.
